Volunteering
The daily life in Argentina, its working and social reality!

Unique combination of an intensive Spanish language course (beginners or advanced) for the duration of 4 weeks. Afterwards volunteer work at a specific social or ecological project or volunteering at a local company or institution.
The volunteer work serves to improve the Spanish language skills and to get a deeper view insight the argentinian working life and social problems of the country. The institution or company receives an active helping hand from the participant and in intensive cultural exchange of experiences is guaranteed.

Costs: We charge only very low placement fees to organise the volunteer project! To cover some small expenses like photocopying the participants documents, phone calls to organise the volunteer job, taxi and bus fares to personal interviews etc.
You must stay at some place because generally the volunteer projects do not offer accommodation. You can book a single room, doble room or 3-/4-bedroom in one of our nice volunteer houses. You will stay with other international volunteers (... a lot of fun and party...). Also you can book a host family if you like.
The participant will not receive any remuneration. It is a volunteer job and not a paid job!

The following projects are currenty available:

4.	Internship or pre-study internship in health care management	For students of economics and especially for students of health care management.	Intermediate Spanish skills. Good computer skills.	Begin from februar-november. At least 8-10 weeks duration.
6.	Botanic garden (find all information here)	Suitable for all personas who likes to work in and with the nature and environment. Also for biology students.	Intermediate Spanish skills.	Begin from february-november. At least 8-10 weeks duration.
7.	Cook	For professional cooks or students of cooking to intern in a five-star hotel.	Intermediate Spanish skills.	Begin anytime. At least for 4 weeks duration.
8.	Volunteer project No. 1 Children hospital	Assisting in a children hospital. For persons who like to assist chronical ill children (cancer, AIDS etc)	Intermediate Spanish skills. Vaccination carnet.	Begin anytime. At least for 4 weeks duration.
9.	Hippotherapy / riding for disabled people Project A) more info here Project B)	Social internship in the area of rehabilitation of mental and physically disabled people through hippo-therapy.	Intermediate Spanish skills.	Begin from februar to november. At least for 8 weeks duration.
11.	Teaching	Suitable for students of pedagogic, sports or music who like to assist at an argentinian school (several institutions are available).	Intermediate to advanced Spanish skills. At least one attended internships. Experiences with children and grown ups.	From 8 weeks duration on.
12.	Volunteer project no. 2 Kindergarden + dining hall	Kindergarden + dining hall (several institutions available).	Intermediate Spanish skills. Enjoying working with kids.	From 8 weeks duration on.
13.	Teaching / teaching sports	Assisting at teaching sports to children and grown ups (several institutions available).	Intermediate Spanish skills. Work experience in the area and with the type of sports.	At least for 4 weeks duration.
14.	Volunteer project no. 3 Home for solitary mothers	Asylum for solitary mothers and their kids.	Intermediate Spanish skills. Be pro-active.	At least for 6 weeks duration.
15.	Volunteer project no. 4 Children´s home	Children´s home outside the town of Córdoba. Approx. 1 hour to commute. ONLY for students of social sciences, pedagogics, sports, music, psychology etc.	Intermediate Spanish skills. Be pro-active. The participants should develop an own project for the kids.	At least for 6 weeks duration.
16.	Animal care / educational farm	The participant should enjoy working with children and animals, especially horses. Small educational farm for children. The farm also owns a riding school.	Intermediate Spanish skills. Riding experiences. Enjoying children and animals.	At least for 4 weeks duration.
17.	Volunteer project no. 5 Children´s home	Children´s home (several institutions are available).	Intermediate Spanish skills. Be pro-active.	At least for 4 weeks duration.
18.	Volunteer project no. 6 or internship / pre-study internship. Institution for physical and mental disabled grown ups and young adults.	Suitable for everybody, especially for students of sports, arts, music, pedagogics or special pedagogigs.	Intermediate to advanced Spanish skills.	From 8 weeks duration on.
19.	Riding stable with approx. 50 horses	For all horse and riding aficionados.	Basic Spanish skills. Riding experiences. Horse experiences.	At least for 4 weeks duration.
21.	Nutrition science	Social or professional internship for students of nutrition sciences. Center of rehabilitation.	Intermediate to advanced Spanish skills. Good diet habits. Advanced university students.	From 5 weeks duration on.
23.	Summerschool	Summerschool for kids between 3 and 12 years. They learn swimming, playing differents sports and stay over the summer months. For all interested people.	You need to know swimming. Basic Spanish skills. Experiences in working with children.	Only from january-march available. At least for 4 weeks duration.
24.	Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation center (several institutions)	Social or professional internship for all people interested in working with disabled children. For students of psychology, pedagogics, physiotherapy, phonology and health realated studies.	Advanced university students or professionals. Intermediate to advanced Spanish skills.	From 8 weeks duration on.
26.	Volunteering or social / professional internship at a school for people with down sydndrome.	Social or professional internship in a special school for children suffering the down syndrome. For students of psychology, special pedagogics, physiotherapy, phonology, health related careers etc.	Intermediate to advanced Spanish skills. Enjoy working with children.	From 8 weeks duration on.
27.	Animal care / Wildlife rehabilitation center for monkeys (find all information here)	Volunteer at a monkey conservation center in the mountain ridge Sierras de Córdoba. For students of biology, natural sciences and open to all interested people and lovers of nature, wildlife and primates.	The required Spanish skills will be aquired by attending a 4 weeks intensive Spanish language course prior the volunteer period.	From 2 weeks duration on.
