Therefore Pasantias Argentinas offers professional internships for university students, graduates, high school leaver and young professionals of all kind of studies or professional fields.

The internships abroad also serve the aquisition of language skills, the professional qualification, the achievment of experiences abroad and could be credited in the country of origin in case of mandatory internships.
The participant can select an internship from a list of available positions or the internship will be organised individually corresponding his preconditions and desires. We guarantee every participant the organisaton of an internship through our numerous contacts to companies, authorities, institutions, NGOs, social institutions, hospitals etc within Argentina!

Of course we do not guarantee the acknowledgement/ legalization of the internship in the participants´ home country for any reasons (scholarships, university credits, international affairs office, internship office, employers, internal revenue service/office etc.). The participants has to take care by himself of the recognition of his internship!
Also we cannot guarantee a specific content, performance, duration or success of the internship. If the prerequisites of an applicant are too specific, we do have to reject his application because we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of those prerequisites.

Mandatory internships
In many curricula, internships or traineeships are compulsory as a part of the education or the study, and must be successfully accomplished to complete the education. It might be prescribed, that the internship or a part of the internship has to be accomplished abroad.
To make sure that your internship abroad will officially be approved, according to the prescriptions of your education or study, we advise you to consult the authority concerned and your tutor at your school or university. In Argentina it is not always possible to fulfil the European or North American conditions and prescriptions. Therefore, you should discuss your plans in details with your tutor.
If you have any special documents or contracts from your school or university for the internship, you must bring them with you to Argentina. On request, your employer will fill them in for you.


Pre-study internships
Secondary school students, school leaving graduates and university beginners also can participate at the internship programs. Graduates use the time until they can begin their studies with a stay abroad in the best way possible. Some studies require pre-study internships which also can be attended abroad. The participant has to inform himself about the requirements and preconditions for the approval of his desired internship abroad.
Of course the pretension on the internship of a graduate without any working experience cannot be as high as in case of an university student at the end of his studies. Also the host company can employ the school leaver only in a limited way because of his lack of experience. Therefore a pre-study internship serves to become acquainted with the daily working life in Argentina. Spanish language skills can be improved, getting an overview of the everyday life and make first experiences abroad.


Duration of the program: 4-20 weeks.


Language skill requirements
To attend an internship you must have sufficient knowledge of the Spanish language. Therefore you have to attend a preparing intensive Spanish language course of at least 4 weeks prior the internship.


Internship placement fee
Pasantias Argentinas only charges a very small internship placement fee to cover some costs to organise your internship. We like to promote Argentina to European and North American participants and support this by long term internship stays. We know exactly what "impact" is caused to the participant by experiencing the foreign culture. But also a long term stay has to be affordable for young participants. That´s why we do not charge high placement fees.
You pay for your Spanish tuition and accommodation.

Application procedure, documents and deadlines

Or choose one internship place of the list of open positions. Apply online without any obligations. We will contact you and will determine the definite data of your stay. Also we will inform you about all necessary travel arragements.
We only need the following documents:
a) A CV (Word - file)
b) Digital or scanned photograph (jpg-Format)
c) Copy of your passport (scanned)


Application deadlines
You should apply at least 4 weeks in advance, because you also have to book a suitable flight to Argentina, we have to arrange your accommodation and we have to coordinate your arrival and airport pickup. Of course: the earlier you apply the better!
